How to Look Like You Just Woke up Even Though You Didn't

It has been hard to look like you just woke up and make it believable. Fortunately, technology has been created to provide a look that you just woke up. This is a step-by-step article/tutorial.

Steps

  1. 1
Stay in a solitary place. Find a place where you won't be disturbed for at least half an hour. Make sure you do not go outside or have been seen by anyone yet.
  2. 2
Ensure you have messy hair. Move your hands up and down and in circular motion all around your head. This will make a messy-like hairdo.
    • OPTIONAL: stick a brush in your hair to make it look like you were trying to brush your morning-tangled hair.
  3. 3
Create a realistic look. Don't make your hair too messy, or else someone will suspect something.
  4. 4
Create the look of bags under your eyes. Put your finger on the area your dark circles are. This is the preparation pose.
  5. 5
Start to pull down the skin under your eyes and then let it go back up.
  6. 6
Repeat this process. This process should be continued until your eyes look very tired, as if you just woke up.
  7. 7
Consider using makeup to add to the look. You may want to put makeup on the dark circles around your eyes. This could add to your 'just woke up' look. Most likely, you don't wake up with concealer on already.
  8. 8
Do not show any emotion. Usually when you have just woken up, you are not smiling nor frowning. Basically, you are emotionless. Make your mouth look emotionless. If you are frowning, for example, someone might think that you just woke up from a bad dream.
  9. 9
Wear the same clothes you were last seen in. If last night, you went to sleep in your t-shirt and jeans, but then later changed into your pj's and no one saw you, you will need to be wearing the same t-shirt and jeans from the night before.
  10. 10
Consider just sleeping in the same clothes. If you didn't change at all, then stay in those clothes.
  11. 11
Do not put on a cap or sleep mask. That is too original and someone will definitely suspect something if you forget to remove it.
  12. 12
Behave as you normally do. Some people wake up cranky and tired in the morning. If this sounds like you do, then act accordingly.
  13. 13
Act naturally. Whatever your mood is typically in the morning averagely, then you should act like that.
  14. 14
Consider acting a bit disoriented. Perhaps you could act clumsy and like the average everyday light is blinding you, especially if you sleep in complete darkness.
  15. 15
Make it really believable. Walk down the stairs very clumsily and rubbing your eyes.
  16. 16
Yawn. If you feel a yawn coming on, you should just go with it.

How about putting a darker tinted eyeshadow underneath my eyes? Non-sparkly of course, just matte.

To look as if you haven't slept in about three days, put a mix of purple, blue, and gray eyeshadow under your eyes, but make sure you blend really well and don't just raccoon it. Put it in the same places that are always slightly purple anyway.

    Tips

    • If you want to act like you fell asleep with makeup on, put on mascara and make it start running by staying around a hot area. If you have to go out of your room to get to a hot area, be sure that you're not seen. Put on lipstick and smear it around your lip area. Wash your hands afterwards, so they're are not covered in makeup.
